Portraits
Having your portraits taken is a truly intimate experience and thus you need someone you can trust to really "see" you and make you feel really comfortable. Only this way can you have really authentic, natural and flattering photos. This one really isn't about having a "good camera", but about who takes the pictures.
My approach is to capture people without judgement and incorporate a lot of movement like walking to avoid the "posing" look and feel.

Family
Family photos are the gift that keeps on giving. Whether you show up as a small unit or it's several generations that come together in front of the lens, the photos tend to be more cherished as time goes by. Memories fade but images keep them alive, and can be displayed in the family's home as a reminder of happy times and the bond you share.
